Giselle Lockett Coaching

Equine Facilitated Learning &

Neuro Linguistic Programming

Welcome to Giselle Lockett Coaching and my website which will give you information about me, my equine herd and my coaching approach using Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL), and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)

My professional background has extensively been in the world of People Development.  I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS)

My professional career includes training and qualifying as a Master Practitioner in NLP as well as a qualified and registered EFL Practitioner through LEAP (which is an organisational member and registered training provider of the Association of Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH)) of which I am a Fellow

This has enabled me to direct my energy and attention and provide a very client centred, highly impactful and therapeutic coaching approach to a wide range of clients with different needs.   After all we are all very unique and one size does not fit all - it is about choice

If you are looking for help, perhaps build your confidence, reduce stress and anxiety, improve relationships, seek clarity of direction, reconnect with the most valued and important aspects of your life, or be more authentic and congruent, then this could be the journey you are looking for

I have had the privilege to own, and be around horses, for as long as I can remember.  Over time I have developed a strong affinity, passion and bond with them as sentient and noble partners, and gifted teachers in life.  Their presence has been positively impactful, at times very emotional but always truly rewarding.  They are my most trusted confidants, honest critics and friends, and, the greatest levellers I know, for which I am eternally grateful, and, for being able to share their special gift with others

My horses are true and equal partners in the coaching process and journey, and their wellbeing is paramount.  By paying attention to this means they are able to fully contribute, to my own, and client wellbeing and development.   I work to the standards set by a number of professional bodies including those relevant to working with animals in a therapeutic and coaching setting.  I am also insured, DBS (enhanced) checked, and, hold safeguarding and first aid training certificates

As a qualified EFL Practitioner I also work with a number of other professionals such as psychotherapists, counsellors and other equine specialists

As an approved Carriage Driving Coach for Riding for the Disabled (RDA) I work alongside others such as coaches, volunteers, carers and physiotherapists, so that collectively we can provide the most impactful experience for our RDA participants, all of whom have individual physical, emotional and/or learning needs

Thank you for taking the time to look at my website.  I hope you find it informative, stimulating and perhaps even a little challenging - leaving you wanting to learn and experience more in a beautiful therapeutic environment with a herd of equine partners and facilitators
